The school lays great emphasis on physical fitness of students and to inculcate in them the spirit of sportsman. Various facilities for games, sports and recreational activities for all are provided. These include athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football,Table-Tennis, Kho-Kho, Kabbaddi ect.Through these activities the students are encouraged to achieve individual efficiency and the spirit of teamwork.
Other Activities The school organizes competition in Dramatics, Debate, Elocution, Quiz, Art, Craft, Music ect. to develop in the students creative and communicative competence and to help them to bring out their in-born talents to the fullest. Prizes and certificates for General-Proficiency award are given to the best student in each class. Regular attendance, good conduct in and outside the school are indispensable conditions for any prize.Students are also prepared for various inter-school competitions.
Interactive Session for Parents In order to develop and maintain cordial relation with parents, an interactive session for parents of class VI students was conducted on 17th and 31st August 2013. The response from the parents was encouraging and their suggestions were welcomed.
Social Awareness Program On the occasion of ‘Road Safety’ week a talk by the Traffic Police Department was arranged in our school on 7th January, 2014. They explained the rules of traffic and importance of following traffic rules to our students.
